Focus: empowering youth (especially in coastal areas) through environmental literacy, leadership and digital competences for coastal conservation.
Thirty participants from six partner organisations worked together to co-create tools for environmental education and youth engagement in coastal sustainability, strengthening cross-border collaboration and long-term impact.
Programme — highlights
- Environmental literacy: threats to coastal & marine habitats; climate change impacts; local-to-EU perspectives.
- Digital & creative tools: using tech and storytelling for environmental education and advocacy.
- Leadership labs: youth worker skills to motivate and organise community actions.
- Cross-border collaboration: knowledge-sharing among teams from GR, FI, RO, SI, PL, IT.
- Local context: sessions hosted in Nafpaktos with practical exploration of the area.
What participants learned
- How to explain and address coastal environmental challenges with youth audiences.
- Practical skills in digital tools & creative dissemination for sustainability topics.
- Leadership & facilitation to run activities and motivate local action.
- Building international networks to sustain impact after the mobility.
