Main focus: media education and digital tools that help promote European values and meaningful youth participation.

This international training course gathers youth workers to explore practical, up-to-date approaches to media literacy, digital campaigning and value-based communication. Participants co-create activities they can replicate locally, and commit to follow-up actions after the course.

Participants — profile & team size

Team size: 4 participants.

• Experienced youth workers and newcomers to media education / digital tools for European values.
• Ready to engage in all stages: preparation, the training course, and follow-up.
• Ready to run at least one post-training activity (solo or with a teammate) within a month for local youth.
• Willing to carry out dissemination (interviews, articles, posts on Facebook/Instagram/TikTok, etc.).
• Communicative in English.
• Priority: participants with fewer opportunities.

What will happen — highlights

• Integration, group contract and goal-setting; daily reflection & sharing.
• Labs on media literacy, value-based messaging and digital tools for campaigns.
• Hands-on prototyping of small actions (workshop/post/video) to replicate back home.
• Intercultural evening & local context elements.
• Final showcase and follow-up plans for the first month after the TC.

Selection & travel tickets

• Selection deadline: 15 January 2025 (original note said 2024; adjusted for a Feb 2025 course).
• Travel approval: create a WhatsApp/Facebook chat with selected participants and add Gema (+34 615 208 508) to approve itineraries directly; or send by email: gema@2europia.com.
• Pre-planned routes: preliminary itineraries are available; after you send the participant list, you’ll receive which tickets to purchase.
