About the project
The aim of the youth exchange was to empower young people with the skills and knowledge needed to design impactful social and environmental initiatives. Participants worked in international teams to identify local community needs, define clear project goals, and create innovative solutions using Design Thinking.
The exchange combined practical workshops, teamwork, and intercultural activities. Sessions included a Personality Colors workshop, project design exercises, simulations of Erasmus+ applications, and final project presentations. Alongside structured learning, participants joined cultural evenings, outdoor activities such as a mountain hike, and energizers that strengthened group dynamics.
Effects of the project
Participants created four pilot project ideas addressing ecological and social challenges. They improved their competences in project management, teamwork, and public speaking, while deepening awareness of sustainable development principles.
The exchange strengthened civic engagement by motivating youth to act on real community issues with innovative and eco-responsible solutions. By the end, participants had ready-to-implement concepts, enhanced leadership skills, and the drive to become active changemakers.
